Difficult to be
definitive regarding the exact maker, however rule marked I. Aston.
Thickness can point
to age, this rule ¼ inch, so this points towards 18th
century.
Marked left to
right.
Numbers appear to be
around 1800, check the close up pics.
So my guess is the
early Isaac.
This is a superb
quality rule.
