Mathieson Waisted Level

A superb Mathieson 12 inch waisted brass and ebony spirit level. One of the really rare Mathieson levels.

This is a superb level in  fabulous condition, there are very tiny marks as one woul;d expect.

Interestingly as with many old levels you can see paper under   the vial, typically one would see the user name and date,  I have not  removed the brass vial protector to decipher, so wil leave it to the new owner to have that pleasure.
