A Superb Whetstone.

• This is Belgian Coticule stone, yellow to white colour..

• Grit size will be somewhere between 6000 and 8000 grit.

• The cutting side is around 9mm thick.

• Base slate is around 4mm thick

• Stone is 5 ¾ inches in length. ( 145mm)

• Stone is 1 ¾ inches wide. (44mm)

• Comes in a wonderful craftsman made mahogany box.

• Has a newish small chip in one corner.

• Has a very old flaw, which shows up as black spidery marks.
